Paris Je t`aime

No other city in the world is as beautiful as Paris. I never been to america. Buy once an american expressed his admiration for Paris. For non visitors Paris is Eiffel tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de triumph but those who have been there they admire the wide boulevards, lively sidewalks and busy subway called metro. Paris is very spacious, It is very strange for a such old city. There is nothing like wide boulevard of Champs Elysis, flanked by expensive cafe, mall, hotel, cinemas, bistro etc. My suggesion is to walk from “Notre Dame” church to “Arc de Triump”. Church has its fame from writing of victor hugo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame and arc. which commemorates the

victories of Napoleanic war. B

y the way to counter that victory the british rejouice his defeat by naming a rail station called waterloo, the warfield where napolian was defeated. Anyway On the way to arc you will meet Louvre Museum , guillotine famed Place de la Concorde. and two big Places called Grande and Petite Palace ( big and small palace), mostly serves as museum.

Paris Metro : Oh la la,(french expression for instant admiration) what a show, hundreds of people of all ethnic group french, african, asian making there way to home or office through metro. This underground train system provide perfect solution of mass transportation. The most strange is the carriages run on rubber tire similar to lorries, over a pair of railway track. You can find metro station in any direction if you walk for 15 minutes. It is very commuter friendly city. This is much simpler compared to London, you need not know french. Through metro you can come close contact with Parisian. Rosy lips, curly hair, scented neck all seems within reach. They are very fashion and figure conscios. Somebody told me Paris is good without Parisian. I don`t think so. Rather they are the heart of all attraction. People from its former colonies provides lots of color white, black and brown which reminds its colorful past. Ethnic diversity is hall mark of a international city. Paris bears this gracefully. I am obsessed with Paris metro, I even like the sound of door alarm, sound of speeding, and sound of low voice approach like “Excuse Moa” or Pardon Mesier.  What an ambiance. Metro has great influence on tourist  as well as parisian. you know Paris has big influence on art, a number of art movements started from Paris impressionism, post impressionism, fauvism, cubism etc. hundreds musuems. It is a city
Of art and culture. But average parisian has no time for all these. They spent their time in M-B-M, what is that. It is just metro_beaurue_metro or subway to offce,Then office and subway to home.

Louvre museum: it is another example of French power under Napolian. Which expanded beyond Mediterranean. By doing so France able to write there name in history book besides Greek, Romans, Arab and Ottoman. Louvre museum houses all the valuable artifacts looted from overseas territories. A small sphynx and a number of mummies proves their victory over Egypt. In egypt and lebanon many people speak french as second language. Louvre is greatest treasure house on the earth. It houses 2 famous diva of art world, mona lisa and venus de milo. And numerous sculpture, jewellary, sarcofagus, mummy and painting. Once I saw a Chinese male tourist look at life size marble sculpture of  female figure with great admiration. When he saw me noticing it he felt bit shy. Never enter in lovre if visiting paris less than 3day. It is huge, requires a whole day.
Paris is open museum. Who want ti mis paris for louvre museum. Besides old building there are plenty of building which are strikingly modern. Complex like la defense is unique and I think there is no match. It is bold by great builder, premier Mitterand, once a frenchman told me he is farao, why you called him farao. Well made lot of mega structure including pyramid. Which pyramid, oh I remember the pyramid in front of louvre museum which serves entrance hall.
Paris city of perfume, painting, cafe. Not for us, We find everything is expensive.

One medium size of  Chanel 5 costs around half of my one month`s salary.  The tourist bus stopped near big posh shopping mall “Galarie Lafayette”. But we have no time to go inside. We rather chose to visit “Tati”. The famous 3/5 storied tunisian owned burgain shop. Near Pigalle. at poorer part of paris where immigrant from north africa lives. Parisian are nocturnal being. Restaurant at one oclock in midnight seems just started. is  ”Mid Night in Paris” of Woody Allen is not a movie, it is a frantic effort the get share of the great city which we rear in our heart or Greeting Card, inscribed as Paris J`taime. Cities is just like woman they allure but never stop.

History of Paris is very rich, occupation by german army, treaty of Versailles large palace garden, French revolution. When I visited Bastille, omg the fort is not there, it he’s been flattened to the ground.

Movies :  quite a few movie wil give you flavour paris. of I see movies that has stories based in paris with great interest. lets see how many I can remember. Last tango in paris, Frantic, harrison ford, new movies like borne identity. Midnight in paris,

Dieting

Recently I lost 5 kg. Everybody now saying I am looking much slimmer. How did I do that ? It is very simple, just by dieting. Dieting is simply one of the toughest jobs in ones life. Because it is a fight against yourself, against your greed. Which is 100 times stronger than corporate greed. For a Muslim controlling yourself is the foremost jihad they called it control your “nafs”. In this context, I must mention a doctor whom I met a few years ago. Unlike any other doctor his approach was totally different, without mentioning the type and amount of food for dieting he emphasized on a different issue. He said “it requires three things. Motivation, motivation and motivation.” He could not hide his disappointment behind his professional smile. I am sure he is very unhappy with his patients. Because they listen but don’t follow.
A few years ago I able to lose weight but it was for a very short period. My wife was to be blamed. Although blaming others is the easiest task it makes much easier if you have a wife.

By the way she is the best cook in my world. She can cook upside down pineapple cake, which she claimed to be the right side up. Anyway  when she calls me “come on, dinner is ready”. I cannot ignore. Ignoring is just missing her tasty cooking.
But those days have gone. Now I am the toughest person to beat. In the morning I take only one roti with vegetable, roti or chapati is flat bread eaten this part of the world, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan. Pakistani and North Indian are real mean roti eaters, they take it 3 times a day.

In Bangladesh we usually take it once in a day, only at breakfast.  Although I am a paratha fan. I only take those on weekends. So I am not loosing anything. Paratha is oil fried flat bread. In a lazy morning I take a walk to nearest street side restaurant. where they fry paratha in front of you in a large black tava. It is a pleasure to see it and smell it while being fried. It is remuneration for the buyer who takes the pain of walking this far.   I was talking about breakfast. I take one roti, that is it. If I feel an appetite to eat more, I eat more vegetable, but not a single roti more.

Architecture

  • The art and science of design a building and other structures.
  • As it will used by man, size, shape and behaviour of man is big issue.
  • Building are different kind, by utility, Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Educational etc..
  • Each kind need different structure, Industrial building needs large entrance then residential one, Sports complex holds much more people than commercial building under single roof. Educational building need much less private speces then residencial building. Large crowd needs more air to breath, ventilation became a big issue.
  • Architechtect have to pay attention to all those issue and asthetics,
  • Strength of material is another issue to deal with when designing a building.
  • They get idea from nature, flower, tree, hill, mare paper.

Corel video studio tutorial.

If you know microsoft movie maker corel video studio is not hard to learn.

Basic concept is pretty easy. bring  picture and video clip file to panel. Arrange those in time line in an order as you prefer those to appear. Now add sound music and voice.
I felt it is quite handy for beginners. Basic making is easy. Only two thing seems to me bit confusing. After editing is finished now question of movie.

Mother tongue day

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999 (30C/62).

On 16 May 2009 the United Nations General Assembly in its resolution A/RES/61/266 called upon Member States “to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by peoples of the world”. By the same resolution, the General Assembly proclaimed 2008 as the International Year of Languages, to promote unity in diversity and international understanding, through multilingualism and multiculturalism.

International Mother Language Day has been observed every year since February 2000 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. The date represents the day in 1952 when students demonstrating for recognition of their language, Bangla, as one of the two national languages of the then Pakistan, were shot and killed by police in Dhaka, the capital of what is now Bangladesh.

Languages are the most powerful instruments of preserving and developing our tangible and intangible heritage. All moves to promote the dissemination of mother tongues will serve not only to encourage linguistic diversity and multilingual education but also to develop fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue.
